Pastor Stan wraps up Psalm 37 this week by showing us how the righteous man’s legacy is built on the Word of God. When difficult times come what distinguishes your life from others?
Pastor Stan unpacks the first half of Psalm 37 to show us how we move either toward righteousness or our own desires. Are you the righteous man who entrusts his plans to the Lord? Or, are you like the wicked man seeking after his own personal gain in all things?
Pastor Stan takes us through Psalm 36 to show us the difference between the sinful man and the faithful man. Do you live your life how ever you want to? Or, do you run toward the glory and treasure of Christ? The remedy of your sickness is only found in blood of Jesus Christ.
This week we welcome back Pastor Stan from his sabbatical.
He unpacks Psalm 35 for us so we can learn to say like David, “Then I will rejoice in the Lord; I will delight in his deliverance.” No matter the adversary we face we can trust the Lord.
This week guest speaker, Dave Mills joined us and unpacked Psalm 34.
Dave is the Lead Teaching Pastor at Hope Church in Sunnyvale. He has been married to his wife, Tami, for 44 years. They have three sons and eight grand-kids. In our final week of the 2017 Summer Psalms series, Pastor Stan looks at Psalm 25 and how God is our trustworthy teacher. As a Christ-follower, we are called "disciple." Disciple is another word for student. Our growth as a disciple begins with trusting the Lord to be a faithful, caring and compassionate teacher.
Derrice Randle (C@BC Elder) examines Psalm 24 and surrendering control of our lives to the King of Glory. We must learn to allow the gates of our lives to be controlled by the King.
