The Book of James

Guest speaker, Jeff Watters shared with us the Book of James. He has memorized the book in its entirety. It was an encouragement to us and a challenge to hide God’s word in our hearts.

Jeff spent the majority of his career in the business world as the founder and president of Oceanic Systems, a company which manufactured aquariums for sale through the retail pet industry. Jeff has been married to his wife Lynn for 34 years - they have two daughters as well as 6 grandchildren. Jeff and his family have been active members of Lake Pointe Church in Rockwall for over thirty years. Jeff has served in youth ministry, international missions, immigrant ministries, and also as a church elder. In 2017 felt God’s call to full time ministry and is now serving as The Chief Dot Connector (Director of Partnership Development) with The Bucket Ministry, a non-profit organization based in Rockwall, Texas. The Bucket Ministry shares God’s love around the world through the gift of clean, safe drinking water.
